Last updated: June 19, 2026
Operator: NIXAR HOLDINGS LLC ("TechAssist", "we", "us", "our")
TechAssist respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA", 17 U.S.C. § 512). This policy explains how to submit a notice, how to dispute a removal, and our policy on repeat infringers.
1. Designated Copyright Agent
Send all copyright notices to our designated agent:
NIXAR HOLDINGS LLC — Copyright Agent (TechAssist)
Email: [email protected]
Mailing address: 421 S Brookhurst St, Ste #336, Anaheim, CA 92804, United States
(Please put "DMCA Notice" in the subject line so we can route it quickly.)
2. How to file a takedown notice
If you believe material available through TechAssist infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, send our Copyright Agent a written notice that includes all of the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works).
3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing and enough information for us to locate it — e.g., the appliance model number, the document title, and where it appears in the app or on our site.
4. Your contact information — name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
We may share a copy of a complete notice with the user who provided the material.
3. What we do when we receive a valid notice
Upon receiving a notice that substantially complies with Section 2, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the identified material and, where applicable, notify the user who supplied it. Incomplete notices may delay our response; we may contact you to request the missing information.
4. Counter-notification
If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send our Copyright Agent a counter-notice that includes all of the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3)):
1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, mailing address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for the judicial district of your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which TechAssist may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice (or their agent).
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.
5. Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers, and we may remove material and restrict access at our discretion.
6. Misrepresentations
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Please be sure of your rights before submitting a notice or counter-notice.
7. Note on third-party documentation
TechAssist provides AI-generated diagnostics and access to technical/service documentation to support qualified appliance-repair professionals. Service documentation remains the property of its respective owners; TechAssist claims no ownership of, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by, any appliance manufacturer. If you are a rights-holder and want specific materials removed, contact our Copyright Agent above and we will act promptly.
